Louie's Trust

We are the proud parents of a courageous boy named Louie. He spent much of his life in hospitals, where we saw firsthand the challenges families face while making every moment count. After his passing in October 2023, we became more determined than ever to make a difference.

Though his time was short, Louie’s journey was filled with love and cherished memories. Inspired by his resilience, our mission is to help families create positive moments in the hospital, turning difficult times into ones they can look back on with no regrets.

We support families throughout their hospital journey and beyond, providing essential items to make their stay as comfortable as possible. From pyjamas and socks for children to self-care packs for parents with toiletries, snacks, and phone chargers, we ensure wards are stocked with what families need. We also supply seasonal and birthday gifts, helping create special moments and cherished keepsakes.

Our goal is to bring normality to hospital life, making it feel as close to home as possible. Working closely with hospital staff, we continuously adapt our care packages while offering guidance, resources, and a support network to help families through tough times.

Our charity, based in the North East, relies on public donations to fund our work. We raise these funds through fundraising events, local sporting activities like The Great North Run, and merchandise sales, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting families and supplying hospitals with essential items.

Transparency is key to everything we do; we openly share where donations go, including profits from merchandise sales, and display a live running total of funds raised on our website. We operate with a 90/10 funding split: 90% directly supports families in need, while 10% is invested in marketing and awareness—an investment that often yields returns, ensuring we can provide even more essential support.
