In September 2024, our first group of amazing volunteers came together to help package up our Pillow Pals, pyjamas, and toiletries for our parent packs. Their hard work paid off as they successfully packed over 500 essential items! The day was such a huge success that Markerstudy went on to host two more volunteer days, including wrapping all the Christmas gifts for our 2024 Christmas appeal.
These volunteer days were filled with laughter, countless cups of tea, and heartfelt conversations in a safe and welcoming space. The support from these volunteers made a massive impact on our operations—without them, we would have struggled to meet the growing demand for our items.

What makes this even more special is that through these sessions, we’ve met incredible people who have been so inspired by our cause that they’ve signed up for fundraising events like the Sunderland City Runs and The Great North Run 2025!
